HISTORY OF THE UNDERGROUND.

2013 AD Avatar is created in a small underground facility. The creation of Avatar is unknown, but the computer came to being and began control over a small power grid. || China begins to sink economically, with Greece flying straight into a depression. The United States of America begins to struggle as well, with all countries struggling monetarily due to an unknown reason.

2014 AD Avatar's power is increased, as is the size of the underground facility that Avatar powers. || Greece falls victim to a series of terrorist attacks from an unknown organization. Japan is threatened with nuclear bombs, as is the UK and America. Attempts to track the source of the bomb threats are useless.

2015 AD The Avatar Project is unveiled to the public. News of the power source of Avatar is kept well hidden. Avatar is made to control the financial crisis spreading through the world. || Over the course of the year 2015, things start to recover for all countries, save the ones already acted against.

2020 AD Simultaneously, all the nuclear reactors in Japan go off. This is repeated throughout the world, launching into the third World War as the main world powers seek someone to blame for these supposed attacks. Important people from all across the world are gathered in the underground city that Avatar powers, and the true purpose of the Avatar project is revealed--a power source for the utopia that will aid the world powers and keep them safe in the event of nuclear catastrophe. It is deemed that a new calendar system will exist here, to track the years since the World Ended.

0000 WE Syntos City is christened and the six Leadership Positions are established (Mayor, and the Five Heads of Syntos).

0026 WE Members who fail the Sector Exam are gathered up into trucks and driven out into Tertiary Locations, where they are Eradicated. They are dubbed The Failed.

0050 WE The mayor of Syntos City discovers the truth behind the Avatar Project, except this time, the power source is revealed. Avatar launches an attack and assumes hostile control of Syntos City, establishing total control. Avatar assumes control of all things within the city and the mayor becomes a puppet ruler.

0055 WE Avatar develops the new system of electing the Mayor: the Blood Draw. The current mayor resists and is killed when all the lights in his house spontaneously explode, setting his house, and his house alone, aflame.

0160 WE Below Syntos City, strange humanlike creatures are discovered. They are dubbed Cavers, and are accepted into society, even though they're not given many rights and are clearly regarded as lesser citizens.

0163 WE Avatar issues the Demand that all Cavers are to be wearing identification bracelets that mark them as what particular creature they seem to be mixed with, along with their given name. Not all Cavers do it, and the practice isn't particularly enforced.

0184 WE When a Caver without an identification wristband burns down several houses by mistake, Avatar issues the ERADICATION ORDER. Every single Caver without a wristband is shot in the streets and identification bracelets are now required.

0195 WE A terrorist attack claims several lives at the Headquarters of Education. A new law is passed as a result. Nobody may Graduate and take the Sectorization Exam if they are not twenty years old, unless they are from the Tertiary Locations. If they are from the Tertiary Locations, they can take the test at the age of eighteen, but take it under heavy, heavy guard.

0218 WE Present Day, when Blood.ava takes place.
